Because we care about our ALDA family and in light of the current pandemic, the Board has implemented important protocols for all ALDAcon 2022 participants that include attendees, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, captioners, interpreters and other ALDAcon-related on-site support. All participants are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.   Full vaccination is defined as 1 J&J shot, or the 2-part series Moderna or Pfizer shots.  Booster shots are not required.  Proof of vaccination can be submitted as follows:

  1. Electronically or a printed copy at time of Registration,
  2. Email a copy to Registration@alda.org
  3. Mail:  contact Registration@alda.org for mailing address

Those who cannot demonstrate proof will not be admitted into the event, nor will they be entitled to a refund after July 31, 2022.

An exception will be made for anyone who presents a document, signed by a medical provider, that vaccination would be hazardous to the person’s health.  Any person receiving such an exception must provide evidence of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of admission to ALDAcon 20212 and must wear a mask at all times.

If you are not attending for the entire time of ALDAcon and are NOT vaccinated, please contact info@alda.org.

COVID-19 Responsibility Statement All participants acknowledge and agree that COVID-19 is a public health risk and that ALDA cannot guarantee safety or immunity from such infection.  By attending the event, they acknowledge that ALDA expects all participants at ALDA events to comply with CDC, state and local COVID-related rules, including any mask requirements, which continue to evolve.  All participants release ALDA from liability should they become ill, directly or indirectly, as a result of their participation in the event.
