Because we care about our ALDA family and in light of the current pandemic footing, the Board has implemented important protocols for all ALDAcon 2021 attendees, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, captioners, interpreters and other ALDAcon-related on-site support.
As such, electronic or printed proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 will be REQUIRED upon entry at registration.
Those who cannot demonstrate proof will not be admitted into the event, nor will they be entitled to a refund. While a refund will not be given, an unvaccinated person may have his or her registration fee credited to ALDAcon 2022. The credit may or may not fully cover registration depending on the ALDAcon 2022 registration fee determination.
An exception will be made for anyone who presents a document, signed by a medical provider, that vaccination would be hazardous to the person’s health. Any person receiving such an exception must provide evidence of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of admission to ALDAcon 2021and must wear a mask at all times.
If you are not attending for the entire time of ALDAcon and are NOT vaccinated, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
As the event is in just five weeks, there is time left to get “vaxxed and maxxed,” even the 2-part series brands.
By attending the event, you acknowledge that ALDA expects all participants at ALDA events to comply with CDC, state and local COVID-related rules, including any mask requirements, which continue to evolve.
