CURRENT ALDA CHAPTERS AND GROUPS
In order to provide support at a local level, ALDA has several chapters located around the country. ALDA, Inc. (ALDA National) grants a Chapter Charter to any group of five or more current members of ALDA, Inc. (ALDA National) who pledge that their Chapter will maintain an outreach program that will include ongoing efforts to identify and recruit new members, to work with other organizations and deaf service providers for the common good of people with hearing loss, and to promote the existence, purposes and functions of ALDA Inc. (ALDA National) whenever and wherever possible. An ALDA Chapter further pledges to pursue one or more of the general objectives of ALDA, which are to provide education, advocacy, role models, and support (EARS) for late-deafened adults. Please note, “ALDA Inc.” is synonymous with our use of the term “ALDA National”.
