John Geoghegan
is an editor, journalist, and author of three non-fiction books, including Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow: A True Story of Love, Hearing Loss, Heartbreak and Redemption. A former business executive hit with sudden hearing loss, he lost nearly everything in his life. Come hear Geoghegan speak on his struggle and how he was able to adapt. David Myers was one of the 11 Deaf Men, also known as “The Gallaudet Eleven”, who helped shape NASA’s Human Spaceflight program. David Myers will be speaking about his experiences on Friday, October 8, 2021, during our lunch hour.
