30th Annual International Convention

The Association of Late-Deafened Adults (ALDA) will host its 30th annual international convention (better known as ALDAcon) on October 10-14, 2018 at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel in Portland, Oregon.
The theme of the convention is “ALDA: Bridging the Gap” referencing the many bridges in Portland and the “gap” between hearing and deafness.

Reserve Your Hotel Room EARLY
Reserve your room at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel in Portland, Oregon today! The ALDAcon room rate is $139.00+ taxes and is good until September 10, 2018 or until the room block is filled. There are two numbers that guests can use to make reservations via phone. Sheraton Portland Airport’s direct number, is 503-281-2500, or the number for Sheraton Central Reservations is 800-325-3535. Guests should ask for the ALDAcon 2018 group block. The code that they can use to identify the block would be: AJ06AD.
There is a free 24/7 hotel shuttle to and from the airport. We are working on how people can text the hotel to request the free shuttle.
