HEARING LOSS, HEARING AIDS AND COCHLEAR IMPLANTS

Hearing loss can mean a variety of things to individuals from mild to profound hearing loss, from becoming deaf later in life or being born Deaf. It can extend further to audio-processing disorders, whereby the ear is functioning properly but the auditory nerve required to send a message to the brain to process sound, is not.
